General Terms and Conditions for purchasing products on cetof.com
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the offer and sale of products through the website cetof.com (“Site”) by the company CETOF S.r.l., in compliance with the provisions of Part III, Title III, Chapter I of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 and subsequent amendments) and Legislative Decree no. 70/2003 on electronic commerce.

1. Scope of Application and Object of the Contract
1.1. These General Conditions apply to all sales of products made by CETOF S.r.l. on the Site to users residing or domiciled in Italy, European countries, and North America (United States of America and Canada).
1.2. The object of the contract is the sale of metal furniture for offices, homes, and public spaces (including but not limited to: clothes racks, waste bins, umbrella stands, wall hooks, chairs, benches) manufactured or marketed by CETOF S.r.l.
1.3. Purchasing products on the Site is permitted both to users qualifies as consumers (natural persons acting for purposes unrelated to any entrepreneurial or professional activity) and to professionals or companies (with a valid VAT number).
2. Product Information and Prices
2.1. The essential characteristics of the products are displayed within each product sheet on the Site. Images may not perfectly match the real product due to the browser or monitor used.
2.2. All sales prices of the products displayed on the Site are expressed in Euros (€) and are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) and any other applicable taxes.
2.3. CETOF S.r.l. reserves the right to modify product prices at any time. It is understood that the Customer will be charged the price indicated on the Site at the time the order is placed.
3. Purchase Procedure and Conclusion of the Contract
3.1. To proceed with the purchase, the Customer must fill out the electronic order form provided by WooCommerce on the Site and submit it electronically following the instructions.
3.2. The contract is considered concluded when CETOF S.r.l. receives the order electronically and verifies the correctness of the data. Immediately afterwards, CETOF S.r.l. will send a confirmation email containing a summary of the purchase.
4. Payment Methods
Payment for products can be made exclusively via:
- Stripe (Credit/Debit Cards): Allows secure payment using major credit or prepaid cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express). Card details are processed directly on Stripe’s secure servers using encrypted protocols.
- Cash on Delivery (Cod): Allows paying the total amount of the order directly in cash to the courier upon receiving the goods.
5. Shipping, Delivery Times, and Customs Duties
5.1. Shipments are carried out worldwide.
5.2. Shipping costs are applied based on the geographical destination according to flat rates:
- Northern Italy Shipping: Flat rate of € 15.00 (VAT included) per order.
- Southern Italy Shipping: Flat rate of € 20.00 (VAT included) per order.
- International Shipping: Flat rate of € 30.00 per order.
5.3. Estimated standard delivery times are as follows:
- Italy: 3-5 business days from shipping confirmation.
- European Countries: 5-7 business days from shipping confirmation.
- Other: 10-15 business days from shipping confirmation.
5.4. Customs Duties and Non-EU Taxes: For all shipments destined for countries outside the European Union (including the United States and Canada), any customs duties, import taxes, or local clearance fees required by the regulations of the destination country are entirely the responsibility of the recipient Customer and must be paid directly to the courier upon delivery.
6. Right of Withdrawal and Free Returns
The Customer has the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To facilitate and speed up the procedure in compliance with current regulations on digitized withdrawals, two distinct methods are available depending on the type of purchase made:
A. For registered users (with an Account)
If you placed the order as a registered user, you can activate the guided electronic procedure:

• Locate the order you wish to return and click on the button to start the request.

B. For non-registered users (Guest Checkout / Without Account)
If you completed your purchase as a guest and do not have an account on our site, you can exercise your right of withdrawal in one of the following ways:
• By using the specific digital quick withdrawal feature for guests
• By sending an explicit statement of your decision to withdraw (for example via registered mail or e-mail to Customer Service), indicating the order number, your personal details, and the products you wish to return.

Following the submission of the request (either through the personal area or the dedicated digital channel), the Customer will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e-mail) containing the date and time of the declaration.
Condition of the goods and refund methods
In case of exercise of the right of withdrawal, cetof.com will fully refund the price of the Products, provided they are returned by the Customer in normal condition, unused, untampered with, and only if the Return Instructions reported on the site are correctly respected. cetof.com reserves the right to check compliance with these requirements and to refuse the return of Products that are not compliant.
Delivery costs for returning the Products are entirely borne by the Customer; any expenses incurred by the Customer for the return shipment will not be refundable. Please note that the goods travel at the Customer’s risk.
cetof.com will not be responsible for any refund or compensation relating to Products shipped back but never received due to loss, theft, or damage not attributable to the company.
The refund will be made without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 days from the moment we are informed of the decision to withdraw. However, cetof.com reserves the right to withhold the refund until the goods have been received or until the Customer has provided proof of shipment.
The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, unless the Customer has expressly requested or agreed otherwise. The Customer will not incur any fees as a consequence of such refund.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for Customized Products: pursuant to art. 59, lett. c) of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is entirely excluded for the supply of goods made to measure or clearly customized. Therefore, for all products that include processes carried out upon the Customer’s specific request, it will not be possible to exercise the right of withdrawal, nor request cancellations or refunds once production has started.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for Professional Users: Professional users are not entitled to the right of withdrawal from the contract of sale or supply of Products. The User expressly acknowledges that entering a VAT number in the order automatically qualifies them as a Professional User, for whom no right of withdrawal is provided.
7. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
7.1. All products sold to Consumer customers are covered by a legal guarantee of conformity of 24 months (2 years) for manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery.
7.2. For customers purchasing with a VAT number for professional purposes, the guarantee provided by the Civil Code applies, which is equal to 12 months (1 year).
8. Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction
8.1. The sales contract is understood to be concluded in Italy and governed by Italian Law.
8.2. For any dispute, if the Customer is a Consumer, the territorial jurisdiction belongs strictly to the court of the place of residence or domicile of the Customer. If the Customer is a Professional, the exclusive jurisdiction belongs to the Court of Treviso (Italy).
